How to get a direct download link for a Telegram file

Published

Downloading big files inside Telegram can be slow, and it sometimes stops halfway. An easier way is to get a direct download link for the file and download it in your browser or a download manager. That’s what Linkulu does.

Steps

  1. Open @linkulubot in Telegram and tap Start.
  2. Send the file to the bot, or forward it from any channel or chat. You don’t need to download it first.
  3. A few buttons appear below the file. Tap “🟧 Free download” or “🟩 Premium download”.
  4. A moment later the bot sends your download link. Open it in a browser, or add it to a download manager such as ADM or IDM.

Free or premium?

  • Free download: files up to 1.5 GB, up to 10 a day, links last 12 hours, and you may wait in a queue at busy times.
  • Premium download: no queue and no 1.5 GB limit, 1,000 Toman per GB from your wallet credit. Links last 24 hours and can be extended before they expire.

Your first download skips these limits and needs no channel membership. Later free downloads need you to join @linkuluchannel.

Tips

  • Links last a set time. After that the file is removed from the server; just send it to the bot again to download it again.
  • Use a download manager for big files. If the connection drops, it resumes from where it stopped.
  • If a premium download fails, its cost goes back to your wallet.
